That means you get the best of both worlds - great traction in the racing line, and for those moments where you stray off the racing line. I-Beam - This popular tread pattern is scaled up for the AKA truggy tire line. The tire gets its name from the I-beam shaped tread, which is more flexible and forgiving than a square pin, so you get better traction. The I-Beam pattern alternates from inline to sideways orientation, which means there’s traction in all directions. Large rectangular center lugs produce excellent forward bite, and the “I-Beam” shaped tread delivers for side bite and all-around cornering. The depth of the tread makes the I-Beam well suited to loose and medium-packed conditions with deep areas of loose dirt around the edges of the track. AKA ground-foam inserts have already set new standards in buggy performance, and the inserts included in the City Block and I-Beam truggy tires will have an even greater impact on the competition truggy market. The nearly perfect ground foam inserts feature exceptional balance and contour right out of the package, which means there’s no balancing, no cutting or other prep work required to use the inserts - they fit perfectly right out of the box and run true without the need for time consuming balancing. The AKA inserts are also very durable. They’re not affected by water, they don’t tear, and unlike most inserts that wear out before a single set of tires, the AKA inserts will outlast 10 to 20 sets of tires.

Die AKA Reifen,Einlagen und die Felgen machen einen sehr guten eindruck.
Die Einlage ist aus ne art Moosgummi gemacht, etwas hart gegenüber die Einlagen die wir sonst kennen, aber fühlt sich sehr gut an.
Die passen perfekt und sollten jegliches Walking verhindern beim Kurvenfahren.
Auch ist die Auflagefläche der Reifen nicht so abgerundet wie bei den LPR'S von Proline!
Echt ne derb goile sache.
Die Einlage wiegt 41 Gramm , Reifen 113 Gramm , Felge 63 Gramm = 217Gr.
Breite: 66,3-66,5mm
Hält sich also alles im Rahmen...
Die Felgen werden ohne Löcher ausgeliefert, können aber problemlos welche rein gemacht werden da 2 löcher markiert sind.
Hier noch ein paar bildchen.

sind den in den Reifen selber löcher ? Ich traue mich immer nicht in den Reifen löcher rein zu machen,habe immer angst das die Löcher einreisen.

Da passiert nix. Nimm eine Zange womit man Löcher in Gürtel für Nieten macht. Bei LPR nur drauf aufpassen das Du nicht den Steg durchschneidest, also die Löcher etwas versetzen.

Ok prima danke für die Tipp´s,so eine Zange habe ich sogar.

Hab jetzt auch mal beide Reifen da!
I Beam und Cityblock!
Alle in Soft Mischung!
Was mir aufgefallen ist:
-Die Reifen passen perfekt auf die Felge (Proline LPR) - es wurde also sehr genau gearbeitet.
-Die Soft Ausführung hat für meine Verhältnisse (Vergleich zu Proline M2 Mischung) extrem harte Einlagen
-Die Noppen an beiden AKA sind wiederum wesentlich weicher als die Proline

Fahrtest folgt:
Vergleich Proline CF und Holeshot in M2 und M3 und AKA IBeam und Cityblock

Es kommen weichere Einlagen, wann weis ich aber nicht. Pavidis meinte sowas im Interview beim Motorama.

etwas, wie ich finde recht interessantes, am rande:

das race-center-munzig wird die reifen demnächst in deutschland vertreiben.

der onlineshop verspricht dies jedenfalls.

Auf welche Felgen passen die AKA Reifen am besten? (Proline, Original ST-RR, GRP) Werden die losen Reifen mit Einlage aufgeliefert?

Hi !!

Also auf die ProLine - LPR Felgen passen die astrein. Hab letztes WE CityBlocks verklebt und die sitzen wie ne 1 !

Und ja, die losen Reifen werden mit Einlagen ausgeliefert. Es gibt sie aber auch als PreMounted. Da sind die dann mit Felgen fertig verklebt !

Die AKA Felgen gibt es mittlerweile auch in Gelb

Und die Reifen von AKA sind nun auch OHNE Einlagen erhältlich,zumindest in den Staaten

Ich bin die AKA schon auf Buggy und Truggy gefahren. Etwas skeptisch war ich anfangs wegen der harten Eilage, das funktioniert aber prima. Der Grip und Verschleiß ist besser als z.B. bei vergleichbaren Reifen von Proline.
Ich bin sehr angetan von den AKA. Schade nur das es momentan noch Probleme mit der Lieferung gibt bzw. sind die Reifen immer wieder schnell ausverkauft
